The road begins

Hello everyone,
For the last couple of years I have battled it out with fellow nerds on the internet over reviews of all kinds (Toys, comic books, story lines, video games, music, and movies). Over this time I have been told to start or write a blog, while others have told me to die in a fire. I have found that one of my many passions is movies, I have to watch something new as often as I can to get my brain working - I also think I do it to avoid reality for a few hours at a time but that is a story for another day.
One thing I really enjoy is comic book movies. Being a "fanboy" of the genre already helps and being a movie enthusiast only adds fuel to this fire which is already inside of me. It goes back to my late HS years with one of my best friends, T.Moon, he was the movie buff that got me in a dvd arms race of collecting and buying movies and then talking about them for all hours of the night. So while this will start out as a comic book movie review blog, it may very well venture into other movies as well since my love for the cinema knows no bounds lol.
Having grown up on all things Marvel, Star Wars, TMNT, Hasbro, DC or anything from the late 70's, early 80's and forward I loved seeing my childhood heroes pop off the pages of a comic and onto the silver screen.
The intention of this blog is to get some practice writing what I hope to be practical reviews of comic book movies (And maybe TV shows) old & new. I find a lot of reviews on cbm's are way to critical on some categories and not enough on others. As someone who takes these seriously and yet can enjoy them even if they fall short my goal is to entertain the reader while getting my thoughts out in the open world for all it's glory to be found on the interwebs. I also want to have a steady chunk of these done so I may one day land a gig writing for a bigger site like the IGN and the CBM's of the world. I thank you for reading this and if you like this or any other blog you see on here, share and re-post whenever you can. A wise man once told me, "Silence is death, so live out loud". That's what I aim to do!
